2. Open the online questionnaire displayed on the page.
3. Choose the available Dutch or French version as appropriate.
4. Complete the quiz personally without automated participation tools.

Answer the Road-Safety Quiz

The quiz contains multiple-choice questions relating to alcohol, road safety and the BOB campaign.

Answer as many questions correctly as possible because the number of correct answers is the primary criterion used to rank participants.

Complete the Tie-Break Question

After the main questions, participants must answer a tie-break question.

The tie-break question concerns the total number of entries received across the Dutch-language and French-language versions of the BOB Quiz.

When participants obtain the same number of correct quiz answers, the participant whose tie-break estimate is closest to the correct result receives the higher ranking.

Provide Your Email Address

Enter a valid email address when requested so that Vias Institute can register the participation and contact you if you are selected as a winner.

Check the information before submitting the quiz.

Entry Limit

Only one entry per person is permitted during each monthly participation period.

The competition contains three separate periods:

• June 1–30, 2026.
• July 1–31, 2026.
• August 1–31, 2026.

A participant who entered during June or July may therefore enter once again during the active August period.

August Prize Pool

Ten winners will be selected for the August participation period.

• Five winners are selected through the Dutch-language quiz.
• Five winners are selected through the French-language quiz.

Each selected winner receives one duo ticket for a hot air balloon flight aboard the BOB balloon in Belgium.

How Winners Are Selected

Participants are ranked first according to the number of correct answers they provide in the quiz.

If multiple participants have the same score, the tie-break question is used to determine the winner based on the closest answer.

If participants remain tied after both criteria have been applied, the organizer may use an additional selection procedure or random draw to break the remaining tie.

Winner Notification

Winners are contacted by email no later than seven calendar days after the end of the applicable participation period.

The practical information and/or digital voucher for the balloon flight is also sent by email.

Balloon Flight Conditions

The duo flight voucher is issued by the balloon operator and remains subject to that operator's general booking and participation conditions.

Hot air balloon flights depend on weather and safety conditions. If the flight cannot take place safely, it may be postponed to another date.

No Mail-In Method

The Official Rules do not provide a postal, SMS, purchase-receipt or social-media alternative. Participation takes place through the official online BOB Quiz.

The BOB Summer Quiz 2026 is open exclusively to individuals who are at least 18 years old and reside in Belgium.

• Participants must complete the official BOB online quiz.

The BOB Summer Quiz 2026 gives adult residents of Belgium a free opportunity to test their road-safety knowledge for a chance to win a hot air balloon experience for two. The summer campaign offers 30 duo flight tickets across three monthly participation periods, with ten winners allocated to the active August round.

About the BOB Summer Quiz 2026

Vias Institute is organizing the competition as part of Belgium's BOB road-safety campaign.

The complete competition runs from June 1 through August 31, 2026. It is divided into three separate monthly participation periods covering June, July and August.

The third and final period runs from August 1 through August 31, 2026 and remains open until 23:59 on the final day.

What Can You Win?

Each winner receives a duo ticket for a hot air balloon flight aboard the BOB balloon in Belgium.

The ticket is intended for two people. The guest is not counted as a separate competition winner.

The organizer does not publish a monetary value for the balloon-flight package, so WorldFreePrizes lists its value as Not disclosed.

How Many Winners Are There?

The full summer campaign has 30 winners across its three monthly rounds.

For every monthly period, five winners are selected through the Dutch-language version of the quiz and five through the French-language version.

This means that ten winner positions are associated with the active August period.

Who Can Enter?

The competition is open only to individuals aged 18 or older who reside in Belgium.

Employees of the organizer and other BOB partners, people directly involved with the competition and their family members are excluded.

Is a Purchase Required?

No. Participation is free and no product, ticket, service or other purchase is required.

The confirmed participation method is the official online BOB Quiz.

How to Enter

Visit the official BOB Quiz page and complete the online questionnaire.

The questions focus on topics including alcohol, road safety and the BOB campaign. Participants should answer as many questions correctly as possible because quiz performance is the first criterion used when selecting winners.

After the multiple-choice section, participants must answer a tie-break question and provide a valid email address.

How the Tie-Break Question Works

The tie-break question asks participants to estimate the total number of entries received through the Dutch-language and French-language versions of the quiz.

If several participants achieve the same quiz score, the participant whose estimate is closest to the correct total receives the higher ranking.

If a tie still remains after this process, the organizer may conduct an additional selection procedure or draw to resolve it.

Can You Enter More Than Once?

Only one participation per person is permitted during each monthly period.

However, because June, July and August are separate rounds, a person who entered during an earlier round may enter once again during the active August period.

Submitting multiple entries during the same monthly period may result in only the first participation being considered.

How Winners Are Contacted

Winners are contacted using the email address submitted with the quiz.

The organizer states that notification will take place no later than seven calendar days after the end of the relevant participation period.

Practical information and/or the digital balloon-flight voucher will also be delivered by email.

Balloon Flight Conditions

The winner's duo voucher is issued by the balloon operator and is subject to the operator's applicable conditions.

Ballooning is weather-dependent. If a scheduled flight cannot take place safely because of weather or other safety conditions, it can be postponed to another date.

The official competition rules do not publish the exact flight date, flight duration, launch location or monetary value of the experience. Participants should rely on the practical instructions sent to confirmed winners.

About the BOB Campaign

The BOB summer campaign promotes responsible road behavior and encourages drivers to plan a safe and sober journey home.

Vias Institute announced that a new BOB hot air balloon would fly over Belgium during the summer and that 30 duo tickets had been reserved for participants in the online quiz.
