About the Sony Product Registration Sweepstakes

The Sony Product Registration Sweepstakes gives eligible residents of the United States four opportunities to win a $2,000 Visa gift card. The promotion is divided into four separate entry periods running from June 2026 through May 2027.

What Can You Win?

Each confirmed winner will receive one Visa gift card with an approximate retail value of $2,000.

The gift card can generally be used at locations that accept Visa debit cards, subject to the card issuer’s terms, restrictions and expiration conditions.

The prize cannot normally be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash. Sony may substitute an unavailable prize with another prize of equal or greater value.

Who Can Enter?

The sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia. United States territories are excluded.

Entrants must be at least 18 years old or have reached the age of majority in their state. Residents of Alabama and Nebraska must be at least 19 years old.

Participants must also be physically located in the United States when submitting an entry.

How to Enter the Sony Product Registration Sweepstakes Online

Participants who previously purchased an eligible Sony Electronics product can visit the official product registration website and register the product using a valid model number recognized by the website.

Product registration provides one entry into the applicable entry period. Purchasing additional products does not increase the permitted entry limit.

Can You Enter Without Buying a Product?

Yes. A no-purchase mail-in entry option is available.

Entrants must legibly handwrite their name, address, telephone number, email address and date of birth on a 3 × 5-inch card. The card must be mailed in a stamped envelope to the address specified in the official rules.

Mail-in entries must arrive before the applicable received-by deadline for the selected entry period.

Entry Limits

Each participant is limited to one entry per entry period, regardless of the entry method used.

Because the promotion contains four entry periods, an eligible participant may enter once during each period by submitting a new qualifying entry.

Non-winning entries do not automatically continue into the next drawing.

Entry and Drawing Schedule

Non-winning entries are not carried forward into later entry periods. Participants must submit a new eligible entry during each period in which they want to participate.

How the Four Entry Periods Work

Participants using the mail-in method should send their entries early enough to arrive before the applicable received-by date. An entry may not qualify when it is postmarked before the deadline but arrives after the official delivery deadline.

Online entrants should also confirm that their product registration was submitted during the intended entry period. Entries received after a period closes may be considered for the following period only when permitted by the official rules.

Winner Notification

Potential winners will be contacted by email using the information included with their entries.

A potential winner may need to respond within five days and complete eligibility, liability, publicity and tax documents. Failure to respond or return the required documents may result in disqualification.

An alternate potential winner may be selected from the remaining eligible entries if the original winner is ineligible or does not complete the prize acceptance process.

Taxes and Prize Conditions

Winners are responsible for applicable federal, state and local taxes associated with receiving the prize.

Lost or stolen gift cards may not be replaced. Winners should review all terms supplied by the card issuer after receiving the prize.
