SuperSport Schools Competitions and Giveaways

SuperSport Schools is a South African sports broadcasting and streaming platform dedicated to school and youth sports. It helps showcase school competitions, developing athletes, and sporting achievements through live and on-demand coverage.

Alongside its sports coverage, SuperSport Schools has participated in promotional initiatives that encourage school communities to share their experiences and achievements. One example is the Edgars At Our School Competition 2026, organized jointly with Edgars.

This WorldFreePrizes archive highlights relevant SuperSport Schools promotions, explaining how eligible participants can support their schools, what prizes are offered, and where to review the official rules.

Featured Competition: Edgars At Our School 2026

The Edgars At Our School Competition 2026 invites school communities to share original public social media posts celebrating their schools.

The campaign is jointly organized by Retailability (Pty) Ltd, trading as Edgars, and SuperSport Schools (Pty) Ltd. Its combined advertised prize value is ZAR 310,000, divided into two categories:

  • Six School Initiative Awards: Each valued at ZAR 50,000, for a total of ZAR 300,000 toward approved school projects or initiatives.
  • Twenty Individual Edgars Vouchers: Each worth ZAR 500, for a combined individual prize value of ZAR 10,000.

The school awards are intended to benefit eligible schools. They are not personal cash prizes for the individuals who submit entries. Individual vouchers are separate shopping rewards subject to Edgars redemption conditions.

The competition runs from September 20 through November 20, 2026, closing at 11:59 PM South African Standard Time. Six school prize draw periods are scheduled during the campaign, while individual winners are selected from eligible entries.

Who Can Enter the SuperSport Schools Competition?

The At Our School promotion is open to eligible participants and recognized schools in five Southern African countries:

  • South Africa
  • Botswana
  • Namibia
  • Eswatini
  • Lesotho

Participation is subject to local laws, required regulatory approvals, and the organizer's official eligibility conditions.

Eligible participants may include parents, guardians, teachers, coaches, former learners, current learners with appropriate consent, and other school supporters. Schools can also participate through authorized official social media accounts.

Individuals under 18 must obtain parental or guardian consent. Additional assistance or authorization may be necessary depending on local regulations.

The nominated school must be officially registered, licensed, or recognized by the appropriate education authority. Not every educational organization automatically qualifies.

How to Enter the Edgars At Our School Competition

Participation is free and does not require purchasing products from Edgars. Eligible participants must publish original content about a qualifying school on a supported social media platform.

  1. Choose an eligible school in one of the five participating countries.
  2. Create an original photograph, video, or other qualifying post celebrating the school, its achievements, or community experiences.
  3. Publish the entry publicly on Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok as an accepted feed post or reel.
  4. Clearly identify the school and its participating country.
  5. Tag both @EdgarsFashion and @SuperSportSchools.
  6. Include #AtOurSchool and a hashtag identifying the nominated school.
  7. Keep the post publicly accessible for verification and follow the official competition rules.

Temporary story posts are not accepted. Each valid qualifying public post generates an entry for the nominated school. Eligible posts published by individuals also qualify for the individual voucher draw.

Official school accounts may enter for school initiative awards but do not qualify for individual Edgars voucher prizes.

Read the official At Our School competition terms for detailed conditions, restrictions, and verification requirements.

School Initiative Awards Versus Individual Vouchers

Understanding the distinction between the two prize categories is important.

The six ZAR 50,000 school prizes are allocated to approved initiatives that benefit winning schools. The organizers may arrange funding, approved purchases, supplier payments, or another lawful fulfillment method agreed with the school.

Individuals who publish a successful post do not personally receive the school's ZAR 50,000 award. The school must satisfy registration and verification requirements before receiving the benefit.

By contrast, the twenty ZAR 500 Edgars vouchers are awarded to eligible individual participants. These vouchers are non-transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash, and must be used according to the terms provided with each voucher.

For winners outside South Africa, applicable prizes may be fulfilled using an equivalent local-currency value under the official rules.

Winner Selection and Responsible Participation

The organizers select winners randomly from valid entries, subject to eligibility verification and any applicable regulatory requirements. The campaign has six separate school prize draw periods, so the overall closing date does not mean every earlier draw remains open.

Participants may generate multiple genuine entries through separate qualifying posts, but repeated identical content, automated posting, and manipulated submissions can be rejected.

Because entries may feature learners and school activities, participants should obtain the necessary permissions before publishing identifiable images or videos of children. The official terms also allow specified promotional reuse of submitted content.

Potential winners may be asked for identity, residency, school authorization, or other verification documents. Always confirm that a prize notification comes from an authorized representative before providing sensitive information.
