About This Giveaway

The Mactac Creative Awards 2026 invites eligible individuals and organizations involved in creating or applying qualifying Mactac projects to submit their work in Architectural or Automotive categories. Projects must use at least 70% Mactac material. Six quarterly winners—one per category in each of three quarters—receive a €500 gift card, a roll of their choice, social-media goodies and promotional exposure. Two yearly winners selected from the quarterly winners receive a €1,000 gift card, a Mactac roll, trophy and diploma, roll-up banner and exposure. Entry is submitted online with five project photos and is generally limited to one entry per applicator. The final entry period closes December 30, 2026.

How to Enter

No separate purchase is expressly required to submit an entry. However, the entrant must submit a completed architectural or automotive project that uses qualifying Mactac materials for at least 70% of the project.

Prepare an Eligible Project

  1. Choose a recent project in which you were personally or professionally involved as an applicator, creator or participating organization.
  2. Confirm that at least 70% of the project uses Mactac materials.
  3. Confirm that the project was not previously submitted to one of the excluded previous editions listed in the official rules.
  4. Obtain permission from the vehicle owner, building owner, photographer, designer and any identifiable person or third-party rights holder when required.
  5. Keep records of the Mactac products used and the project completion date.

Select a Competition Category

Choose one category that accurately describes the submitted project:

  • Architectural Projects: Eligible uses may include floors, windows, walls, facades, ceilings, decorative graphics, window films and other architectural surface applications.
  • Automotive Projects: Eligible uses may include complete or partial vehicle wraps, fleet graphics, decals, paint-protection films and vehicle-interior customization.

Prepare the Project Photographs

  1. Select up to five clear photographs of the completed project.
  2. Include useful views showing the overall appearance and creative transformation.
  3. Use JPG, JPEG or PNG files accepted by the official form.
  4. Ensure the uploaded photographs do not exceed the technical limits shown on the live submission form.
  5. Do not upload photographs containing unauthorized people, copyrighted works or confidential materials.

The official submission interface currently allows a maximum of five image files and identifies JPG, JPEG and PNG as accepted formats.

Complete the Online Entry Form

  1. Visit the official Mactac Creative Awards website.
  2. Open the Submit Your Work section.
  3. Upload the eligible project photographs.
  4. Enter the title of the project.
  5. Provide the entrant’s company or business name.
  6. List the Mactac products used in the project.
  7. Add an optional business website or social-media link when appropriate.
  8. Provide a valid email address.
  9. Write an accurate description explaining the project, creative concept and application.
  10. Select either the Architectural or Automotive category.
  11. Review the official rules and submit the completed entry.

Entry Limit

Limit one entry per individual applicator.

A company employing several different applicators may submit up to four entries in total. Each entry must be connected with a different eligible applicator and must comply independently with the official requirements.

Public Voting

Eligible projects may appear in the official Mactac Creative Awards gallery for public voting. Entrants may share the official project page and invite genuine visitors to vote.

Public voting represents 30% of the final score. Automated votes, manipulated voting activity or other attempts to interfere with the process may lead to removal or disqualification.

Submission Rights

By submitting an entry, the entrant grants the sponsor broad rights to use the photographs, descriptions, text, images and other submitted materials for administration, publicity and business purposes.

Entries and uploaded files may not be returned. Entrants should preserve their own original copies before submitting them.

Submission Deadline

Entries intended for the current quarterly selection should be submitted before September 30, 2026.

The final 2026 submission period is scheduled to close on December 30, 2026 at the published closing time. Because the time-zone wording in the rules is inconsistent, submit well before the final day.

No Mail-In Method

The official rules do not provide a postal, email-only or social-media-only alternative method. The complete project entry must be submitted through the official online form.

About the Mactac Creative Awards 2026

The Mactac Creative Awards is an international skill-based design competition sponsored by Avery Dennison Corporation and its affiliated companies. The programme recognizes creative transformations completed with Mactac architectural and automotive materials.

The 2026 competition is divided into three submission periods. Each period produces one Architectural category winner and one Automotive category winner. At the end of the programme, one yearly winner is chosen from each category's quarterly champions.

The current quarterly submission period is scheduled to continue through September 30, 2026. The final annual entry period is scheduled to close on December 30, 2026.

What Can You Win?

Quarterly Winner Package

Each quarterly winner receives a €500 gift card, one roll of Mactac material selected by the winner, a social-media goodies bag and exposure through Mactac Europe websites and social-media channels.

The social-media package is described as including a telephone tripod, ring light and silicone telephone suction pad. The organizer does not publish an individual monetary value for these items or the selected roll.

Yearly Winner Package

Two yearly winners—one from the Architectural category and one from the Automotive category—receive a trophy and diploma, a roll of their choice, a €1,000 gift card, a roll-up banner and additional promotional exposure.

The yearly winners are selected from the previous quarterly winners. A yearly winner may therefore receive both a quarterly package and the applicable yearly package.

Who Can Enter?

The competition is available in the United States, Canada excluding Quebec, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, China, South Africa and a published list of countries across Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.

Entrants must have reached the age of majority or legal contractual capacity in their jurisdiction. They must also be involved in creating or applying the submitted Mactac project.

A building or vehicle owner cannot participate merely because they own the property shown. The entry must come from an eligible applicator, creator or participating business connected with the work.

Project Requirements

The submitted project must use Mactac materials for at least 70% of the complete or partial application.

Applicants should submit recent work created during the organizer's applicable reference period. Projects entered in several named previous editions of the Mactac Creative Awards cannot be submitted again.

The entrant must hold all necessary rights to the photographs, designs and descriptions. Permission should be secured for identifiable people, protected locations, third-party artwork and other materials that the entrant does not own.

Competition Categories

Architectural Projects

The Architectural category covers projects in which Mactac products transform architectural surfaces. Examples may include wall graphics, floor applications, decorative windows, glass films, facades, ceilings and other interior or exterior surface treatments.

Automotive Projects

The Automotive category covers vehicle-related applications such as full wraps, partial wraps, fleet graphics, decals, paint-protection films and interior customization.

Entrants must choose the category that most accurately represents the submitted work. The two categories are evaluated independently.

How to Enter

Visit the official Mactac Creative Awards website and complete the project-submission form. Upload up to five eligible JPG, JPEG or PNG photographs.

Provide the project title, company name, Mactac products used, email address, project description and selected category. An optional website or social-media link may also be added.

The photographs should clearly communicate the final appearance, quality of application and transformation achieved. Before-and-after views can help demonstrate the visual change evaluated by the judges.

Entry Limits

Each applicator may submit one entry. A company with several applicators may submit up to four entries, provided each submission is associated with a different eligible applicator.

Submitting the form does not guarantee that the project will be accepted into judging. Incomplete, ineligible, technically corrupted or rights-infringing submissions may be removed without notice.

How Winners Are Selected

This is a judged design competition and not a random sweepstakes. Entries are assessed under four published components:

  • Creativity of the project — 40%: The uniqueness of the design and creative use of the materials.
  • Public vote — 30%: Genuine votes submitted through the official project gallery.
  • Visual transformation — 20%: The difference demonstrated by the submitted project photographs.
  • Overall appearance and appeal — 10%: The complete public-facing visual result.

If entries receive equal overall scores, the project with the higher Creativity score ranks first. If the tie remains, the Public Vote score is considered. Additional judges may be appointed if the published tie-breakers do not resolve the result.

Public Voting

Submitted projects may be displayed in the public gallery. Entrants can share the official project page to invite colleagues, clients and other genuine visitors to vote.

Public voting contributes to the final result but does not independently determine the winner. A project must also perform strongly under the judges' creativity, transformation and overall-appearance criteria.

Winner Announcements

Quarterly winners are expected to be announced through email, the Mactac Creative Awards website and Mactac social-media channels approximately two weeks after the applicable submission period closes.

The two yearly winners are expected to be announced approximately four weeks after the final submission phase ends. Exact announcement dates may be published later through the official website and social accounts.

Winner Notification and Verification

Potential winners are contacted at the email address supplied with the entry. The sponsor may forfeit a prize when it cannot contact the selected entrant within three days.

Before receiving a prize, a potential winner may be required to sign an affidavit and release and provide identity, eligibility, tax or address information. Refusing to complete the requested verification may result in disqualification and the selection of an alternate.

Prize Delivery and Taxes

Gift cards and other physical prize elements are delivered using the address provided by the confirmed winner. A winner who does not accept delivery within the period described by the organizer may forfeit the prize.

Winners are responsible for applicable taxes and costs not expressly included. United States and Canadian winners may be asked for tax information when the prize value reaches the applicable reporting threshold.

Submission Rights

Entrants should read the intellectual-property provisions carefully. The official rules grant the sponsor broad, continuing rights to use submitted photographs, descriptions and other entry materials for business and promotional purposes without additional compensation.

Keep original copies of every uploaded file. Submitted materials may not be returned or individually acknowledged.

Important Information

Review the official Mactac Creative Awards rules and the official submission page before preparing your project.

The official timing section contains inconsistent time-zone references. Submit well before the relevant quarterly or final deadline and confirm that the official form displays a successful submission message.
